Fishing Seasons
• Salmon Fishing Season: from 15th January to 15th October.

• Trout Fishing Season: from March 15th to October 6th. There are excellent opportunities, especially in the Upper Tay, with seasonal variations.

Note: Salmon fishing permits cost around £50-£80 per person/day; prime beats can cost £300–£450/day. Permit prices vary by time of year and location.  Additionally, there’s a £60 charge for guide travel costs, but transport costs may vary by destination.
Note: All costs listed above exclude the fishing permit, which must be purchased separately. Lunch and transport can be arranged for an additional fee. Transport costs vary by destination and can be added upon request.

Cancellation Policy

📌 Payment Policy
–   A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
–  Full payment must be made at least 14 days prior to the booked fishing date to secure your guide, equipment, fishing permits, and chosen fishing days.
–   For last-minute bookings, full payment is accepted on the day.
🚫 Client Cancellation Policy
–  When a specific fishing or casting lesson date is requested and confirmed, clients are expected to commit to that date.
–  Cancellation or postponement for any reason will result in a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
–  Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked date are non-refundable (100% of the fee is retained), unless a replacement client is found.
–  The 50% cancellation fee applies even in the case of medical emergencies.
–  However, we are happy to reschedule your booking at no extra cost, subject to availability.
🌧️ Weather & Water Conditions Policy
–  If we are forced to cancel or postpone your booking due to adverse weather or river conditions, you will not lose any money.
–   You may reschedule at no additional cost or carry forward your payment to a future date.
–     Please note that bad weather, low water levels, or lack of fish are outside our control and do not qualify for a refund if fishing goes ahead as planned.
❌Refund Policy for Salmon Fishing Permits in Scotland – Non-Refundable
–   Most permits (especially on well-known rivers like the Tay, Spey, Dee, or Tweed) are non-refundable.
–  This includes bad weather, high/low water levels, no fish caught, and personal cancellation.
–     This is because permits are limited and reserved in advance, often months ahead.
